How much will it cost to convert this?

Put it on Video has always offered the best analog to digital transfer service in the state of Iowa, while also offering the most cost effective options. Depending on the media you are trying to convert, we will generally charge per unit costs for each transfer. With film we charge by the foot, and varies in priced based on 8mm vs. 16mm. In this business, there’s no such thing as a standard order, so give us a call so we can work out what the best option is for you.

What if I only want specific sections of my transfer?

We can and do offer editing services to create spliced media on your transfer. However, this does require us to charge for said editing. Our editor Sam LOVES when you ask him to edit. Do keep in mind that the most cost effective method of transfer is to simply transfer all footage on one tape to its own DVD, and enjoy every moment of every memory you have!

My media is fairly damaged, can you repair it?

When the damage is more minor than serious, a majority of time we can clean/improve the quality of the video with a standard cleaning. But often if there is a buildup of mold, or the tape/film is warped, it generally means the media is unsalvageable as it would most likely damage our equipment if we tried to convert it. We can perform minor tape repairs if required. We also offer a CD/DVD resurfacing service! Call us for details and pricing.

Do you offer special services for obscure media?

We offer everything from disc resurfacing to digital audio cleanup. Odds are if you need it done, we have the resources to to do it. We recommend you come into the office with the media you want transferred, edited, or modified so we can discuss what suits your needs best in person!
